Southern California Grantmakers is a regional association for philanthropists and grantmakers,
working to make a difference in our communities and around the world. Our members include corporate
grantmakers, family foundations, individual philanthropists, and private, independent, operating and
community foundations as well as grantmaking 501(c)3s. We represent the Southern California region
including Los Angeles, Kern, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and
Ventura Counties.

Who Can Join?
Philanthropic Grantmakers
For individual philanthropists and institutional grantmakers (e.g. family foundations, private independent foundations, community and public foundations, corporate foundations, corporate giving programs)
Government Grantmakers
For government grantmakers (e.g. city, county, state, or federal government entities or departments that distribute funds on a competitive grantmaking basis).
Philanthropic Consultants
For consultants who provide programmatic, management, governance, or strategy consulting to organizations or individuals who meet SCG’s grantmaker eligibility criteria.
Pricing
For funders, dues levels are based on your prior year’s total giving as shown in this chart. For philanthropic consultants, dues are $1,100 per year.
